"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again.
But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game. It's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good...and could be again. People will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.”
Formed in 1988, and active ever since, the Southwestern Baseball League is a "rotisserie" league dedicated to the pursuit of our National Pastime and Tax-deductible Charity. We support the National League, which in our view is the only League which has remained somewhat faithful to the traditions that made our game great.
Each Spring we emerge from the Long, Dark Tunnel of Winter for another season, led by our Commissioner For Life "Hap" Caldwell who always strives to be "pretty fair".
